GOUROCK based Richard Robb Architects have submitted a planning application to Inverclyde Council on behalf of James Watt Dock Marina for a new marina administration building that will create a focus for the expanding berthing business at Greenock.

The building will provide an operational office for the marina together with new facilities for customers that will replace the existing portacabins in the Sugar Shed.

A bespoke bistro café and three retail and office units have also been incorporated in the design, all enjoying commanding views over James Watt Dock and conveniently located for ease of access by land and water. The building is due to be completed by 2020.
